Practical Resources,
Therapy Support and Guidance tailored to your child’s needs

About me

Hello! My name is Kristen, and I’d love to share a little bit about my journey. With over 10 years of experience in customer service and more than 5 years working in education, Applied Behavioural Analysis, and coordinating Autism Spectrum Disorder curriculum, including supervisory roles, I’ve always had a deep passion for supporting children on the spectrum. This has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling paths I could have chosen.

Along the way, I’ve seen firsthand how large the GAP can be in accessing essential services. Every child I’ve worked with has touched my heart in countless ways through schools, clinics, daycares, tutoring, babysitting, and beyond. Each experience has shaped me and reinforced the impact that thoughtful, personalized support can have. This is the impact that I hope to have on the children I work with. While I started this business with many children in mind, there’s always that one special child who inspires us to push for change in the system. My goal is simple: to help fill the GAP and provide the support families need while they wait for these essential services. Services that you should never have to wait for.

I’m a small-town girl at heart, born and raised in Muskoka in the charming town of Port Carling. My journey has taken me across Ontario from Ridgetown to Brampton, Whitby to Peterborough and back to my roots in Muskoka, gathering experiences that inspired me to create this business. While I am not a licensed BCBA or Speech-Language Pathologist, I am a trained Social Service Worker with a dream: to bring joy, growth, and confidence to every child I work with.

When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me being a homebody! I like to snuggle up watching movies and binge-watching Greys Anatomy with my dog, Bandit (we all have our comfort show, don’t we?!)

💛 Philosophy & Approach

I work with children in a very silly, playful way, constantly striving to make them smile and giggle. Being able to play with children in a fun, upbeat, positive way isn’t a skill that can be taught, I believe it comes naturally, and this is one of the strengths I bring to every session.

What makes my sessions unique is that each one is fully personalized to your child’s interests and goals, blending play, learning, and skill-building in a way that feels joyful and effortless. I focus on creating an environment where children feel safe, engaged, and motivated to learn, while families gain practical tools and strategies to support growth at home.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I can’t wait to meet your little one and bring sunshine, giggles, and growth to their learning journey!

What will a session look like?

From the moment we start, it’s all about fun, connection, and learning! 💛

We’ll begin with a warm welcome to help your child feel comfortable and excited. Each session blends playful activities, hands-on learning, and gentle guidance, all tailored to your child’s goals and interests.

You might see us building with blocks, exploring sensory bins, reading together, or practicing important life skills through games and movement. Every activity is designed to encourage confidence, communication, and joy because learning works best when it’s fun!

💛 I love filling my sessions with joy, laughter, giggles, and those big smiles that make your cheeks ache. For me, the best sign of a successful session is when we both leave smiling from ear to ear!

At the end, we’ll wrap up with a quick chat so you know exactly what we worked on and how you can keep supporting your child at home.

No matter which package you choose, each session includes:

  • Progress Report

  • Session notes

  • Ongoing skill tracking

  • Goals and Objectives

  • Positive Reinforcement and Encouragement

  • Family friendly tips and strategies to use at home

  • Answering any questions/concerns and/or support in between sessions

Land Acknowledgment

I want to take a moment to acknowledge that the land where I live, work, and create is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg peoples, including the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi Nations, as well as the Huron-Wendat. These lands are covered by the Williams Treaties and the Robinson-Huron Treaty.

I am grateful to share this space, to learn from the wisdom and strength of Indigenous communities, and to carry forward the responsibility of caring for the land and for one another.

In my work and in my life, I strive to honour the Seven Grandfather Teachings: Love, Respect, Bravery, Truth, Honesty, Humility, and Wisdom. These values guide the way I support children and families from many backgrounds, and remind me to approach this work with compassion, integrity, and deep respect for the communities I serve.

As a social service worker and an Autism specialist, these teachings shape how I walk alongside children and families; meeting each child where they are, celebrating their strengths, and creating safe, inclusive spaces where every voice and story matters.
